Originally from San Cristobal, Venezuela, Iliana moved to the United States for better opportunities due to her country’s political crisis. She settled in South Carolina’s Lowcountry in 2016, where she found a supportive community and nurtured her passion for art through local shows. In 2022, after relocating to Florida, she founded Iliana Leyba Design, specializing in turquoise jewelry. By 2024, she had moved to Texas, further inspired by southwestern culture and incorporating Cowboy hats and jewelry into her work. Despite challenges, Iliana encourages others to seize opportunities, explore life without limits, and live with purpose and gratitude.
